Sebastian Stan

Biografia

Sebastian Stan was born on August 13, 1982, in Constanta, Romania. He moved with his mother to Vienna, Austria, when he was eight, and then to New York when he was twelve. Stan studied at Rutgers Mason Gross School of the Arts and spent a year at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre in London. When he went back to New York he started working in some projects like Prawo i bezprawie (1990), Tony 'n’ Tina’s Wedding (2004) and Red Doors (2005). Upon finishing college, he played Martin Waters in Architekt (2006), Chase Collins in Pakt milczenia (2006) and worked in Eric Bogosian’s theater play The Talk (2007). Also in 2007, Stan started playing Carter Baizen in Plotkara (2007). His following projects were Amerykanskie ciacho (2009), Kings (2009), Jutro będzie futro (2010), and Czarny labedz (2010). He landed also the role of Bucky Barnes in Captain America: Pierwsze starcie (2011). In 2012, Stan worked in several projects: Zaginiona (2012), Political Animals (2012), Zjawy (2012), Dawno, dawno temu (2011) and the mini series Labirynt (2012). In 2013, he was in Broadway’s Picnic and in 2014 he was introduced as The Winter Soldier in the Marvel universe in Kapitan Ameryka: Zimowy żołnierz (2014). He has continued his role as Bucky Barnes/The Winter Soldier in [=tt3498820], Czarna Pantera (2018) and Avengers: Wojna bez granic (2018). Other notable projects include Nigdy nie jest za pózno (2015), Marsjanin (2015), The Bronze (2015) and Logan Lucky (2017). He was given high praise for his work in the recent Jestem najlepsza. Ja, Tonya (2017).
